NoteBP ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our blood pressure tracking application.
Information We Collect
NoteBP is designed with privacy as a core principle. We collect and store:
- Health Data: Blood pressure readings, heart rate, mood indicators, and notes you enter into the app
- App Preferences: Your settings, reminders, and theme preferences
How Your Data is Stored
All your health data is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your personal health information.
- Local Storage: By default, all data remains on your iPhone and is not transmitted to any servers
- iCloud Sync (Optional): If you enable iCloud sync (Premium feature), your data is stored in your personal iCloud account, which is managed by Apple and protected by your Apple ID credentials
Data We Do NOT Collect
We want to be clear about what we don't do:
- We do not collect personal identification information
- We do not track your location
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties
- We do not use analytics or tracking services
- We do not display advertisements
- We do not require account creation
Third-Party Services
NoteBP uses the following third-party services:
- Apple App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases. Apple's privacy policy applies to these transactions.
- Apple iCloud: If you choose to enable iCloud sync, Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy apply.
Data Export
You can export your data at any time using the PDF export feature. This allows you to maintain a personal copy of all your health records.
Data Deletion
You have full control over your data:
- Delete individual readings from the History screen
- Delete all data by uninstalling the app
- If using iCloud sync, data can be removed from iCloud via your device settings
Children's Privacy
NoteBP is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
